When LifeNPublishing has kind of been failing of late

Hey guys, I owe you an apology. I know I’ve been pretty lame about updating these past few weeks. There are a number of reasons:

1) I don’t have much to complain about.

2) I’ve already covered a lot of territory and I don’t like to repeat posts

3) I’m busy, my life moves on, and to be honest, I’m less into tumblr than I was 6 months ago.

So the point of all this is to say that I’m pretty sure the days of me really pushing to post 5-8 things every workday are over

and I just want to say

I will still post when the mood strikes. And I will still post submissions.  And fortunately there are LOTS of awesome blogs to read if I’m not posting:

So I’m not saying I’m done. I’m not shutting down the blog. I’m just giving fair warning that the posts will slow down (as I’m sure you’ve noticed already). So again,

And then realizing yours start a week later than your friends

Double plus bonus if the question is idiotic or offensive. I once had an author call and ask “Hey, what is the name of that terrorist Mosque by the World Trade Center?”

When an author asks me to do something I already asked him to do

Having to explain to an author that ‘cocaine and hookers. Lots of hookers’ is not an appropriate response to the question ‘What does the word “success” mean to you’ in an interview, even when answered ‘ironically’
